Bio:

The fiery fast bowler took his game to a new level last season, intimidating batsmen, restricting runs and most importantly, taking wickets at crucial moments. Harwood was the leading wicket-taker in the Ford Ranger Cup with 24 scalps at of 16.25. The right-arm quick was named in the Johnnie Walker Australian Cricketer's Association One-day team of the year and received a car from Ford after being named Fox Sport's player of the series.

From Ballarat in Country Victoria, Harwood represented Australia in the shorter forms of the game in South Africa earlier this year and was a key figure in Victoria's team that claim the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield title.

The 2009/10 season hasn't been the fairytale Harwood would have hoped for, the veteran tearing his supraspinatus muscle in his rotator cuff and has also damaging his bicep tendon in early November.

Requiring a shoulder reconstruction, Harwood faces a 12 month recovery but the Victorian hopes to be back in action for the Champions League later this year.
