Bio:
Carters joins Victoria after representing ACT in the Cricket Australia Cup last season. The only back-up wicket-keeper in the squad, Carters represented ACT throughout the junior ranks and was in the Australian under-19 team last season.
Carters was given a unique opportunity last season to play for New Zealand, when he filled in for Brendon McCullum with the gloves in the Prime Minister's XI match.
After a stint playing club cricket in England over the winter, Carters threw himself into training this year and has had a solid season with Premier Club Richmond. His hard work was rewarded making his Victorian debut as wicketkeeper during the Big Bash clash against Tasmania at the MCG in front of 43,000 people.
