Bio:
Quiney cemented his spot in all three forms of the game during the 2008/09 season, playing in all three finals and proving his versatility by batting in every position from one to six. The powerful left-handers' season was highlighted by his maiden first-class century (127 against Queensland) and his outstanding knock of 91 off 56 balls in the KFC Big Bash final. His form in the shorter version of the game saw him called up for Australia's Twenty20 squad late in the season and being given an IPL contract with Rajasthan Royals.
One of the characters of the change rooms, 'Bobby' spent the winter at the Cricket Australia Centre of Excellence in Brisbane. Quiney's early form in the 2009/10 season was sporadic, however , he has worked hard to fight his way back into the Bushrangers side, making a double century for his Premier club St.Kilda and then recently producing a much needed first-class century against Tasmania to secure the Bushrangers win.
