Bio:

The Bushrangers didn't see much of Siddle in 2008/09, with the bustling fast bowler spending most of the summer in Australian colours. He made his Test debut in India and captured the imagination of the public with his passion and lion-hearted spells in the Boxing Day and Sydney Tests.

Siddle made only three appearances with Victoria last season, but he did take 4/27 in one Ford Ranger Cup match against Tasmania.

His international career took off in 2009, representing Australia in back-to-back tournaments during the year and taking the honours with the ICC's Emerging player award.

After a busy summer in Australia with the 3 mobile Test series and the Commonwealth Bank one-day series, Siddle has suffered stress fractures in his back and will now be sidelined for up to five months. He hopes to be back and fully fit by June to play for the Australia in England.
