Bio:
Season 2008/09 was another fine one for Hussey, who is now a regular for Australia in the shorter forms of the game. While missing some matches for the Bushrangers due to his international commitments, the composed right-hander still put up some terrific numbers, averaging 66.33 in the Ford Ranger Cup, 40.15 in the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield (including a century in the final) and a whopping 173 in the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
Hussey kept his good form with strong performances for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL and a fruitful stint with county side Nottinghamshire during the off-season.
In the 2009/10 season Hussey has yet again been a key component of the Bushrangers' success in all forms of the game. The sensational batting from the stand-in captain throughout the Big Bash competition saw him lead the Bushrangers to another title as well as earn him selection in the Australian Twenty20 squad.
