Bio:

After playing just two games in 2007/08, the powerful right-hander got more opportunities in the senior Victorian side last season, taking part in four Ford Ranger Cup and five KFC Big Bash matches. Finch averaged 29.33 in the FRC and 17 in the Big Bash and will be looking to build on those numbers this season.

Finch spent the off-season playing for English club side Clifton Alliance and was dominating early doors, scoring 870 runs in his first 10 innings for the Yorkshire club.

The 2009/10 season has been a breakthrough on for Finch, who has played some starring hands in one-day cricket and Twenty20, and was finally selected to play for Victoria in the four-day competition.

The 23-year-old was the second highest run scorer in this year's Big Bash tournament scoring 189 runs at the healthy average of 47.25 and is also averaging just over 35 for the Bushrangers in one-day cricket this summer.
