Experienced paceman Damien Wright and all-rounder Will Sheridan return to the DEC Bushrangers Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield line-up for their home clash against the WA Retravision Warriors at the MCG tomorrow.

The pair come into the side for Cameron White and Clint McKay, who are unavailable due to the Australia 'A' tour match against England in Hobart, and Peter Siddle, who is being rested ahead of the upcoming first Test of the Vodafone Ashes series in Brisbane.

The Warriors will field a full strength line-up, including three of the players selected in the Vodafone Ashes series squad, batsmen Marcus North and Mike Hussey, and premier paceman Mitchell Johnson.

Rookie batsman Ryan Carters has also been named for the first time in the DEC Bushrangers Sheffield Shield line-up.

Carters - a wicket keeper/batsman - has played three games for Victoria in the limited overs format - a KFC T20 Big Bash match, one game during the Champions League T20 competition and most recently he made his domestic one-day debut in Brisbane against the Bulls.

Originally from the ACT, the talented 20-year-old's recent performances include a quick-fire 94 from just 88 deliveries whilst captaining Victoria in a Future's League match, along with a classy century (137) at Premier level for Richmond, paving the way for his first-class call up.

The Bushrangers played the opening round of the Shield season against the Warriors in Perth coming away with a comfortable eight-wicket victory. Andrew McDonald starred with the bat scoring 163 off 116 balls and Darren Pattinson returned a career-best of 8 for 35 with the ball, ensuring the Vics claimed an outright win.

Last week the Bushrangers took first innings points against the NSW Blues but were unable to clinch an outright win. All-rounder Andrew McDonald continued his stellar Shield form, accomplishing the rare feat of two centuries in both innings of the match and also snaring three wickets.
