DEC Bushrangers squad named for FRC final
Fri, 26 February 2010
Victorian selectors have named a squad of 13 for the DEC Bushrangers' clash against the PKF Tasmanian Tigers in the Ford Ranger Cup final at the MCG on Sunday. Hard-hitting batsman Rob Quiney has been added to the squad of 12 that defeated Queensland by 25 runs last week to secure the home final. Quiney is coming back from an adductor strain and will undergo a fitness test on Saturday. With the Australian one-day team flying out to New Zealand on Sunday, Clint McKay joins captain Cameron White, David Hussey and Dirk Nannes on national duties and is unavailable. For the third year in a row the DEC Bushrangers have made all three finals and are chasing their first one-day domestic title since 1998-99. The two teams have met twice this season with the DEC Bushrangers winning both matches, including an MCG-record run-chase of 301 in November.
